Every Backyard Adventures swing set belongs to one of three series, and the series sets the size of the structure. Adventure sets are the starting point, usually with a 5-foot deck height and an 8-foot swing beam, which suits younger children and a smaller play area. Olympian sets step up to 6-foot decks and a 9-foot beam for more swing height and room to grow. Titan sets are the biggest, with 7-foot decks (up to 9 feet on some Jumbo models) and a 10-foot swing beam, built to accommodate older kids and adults playing together.

Within each series you pick a design, or structure type: Outlook and Summit are the classic fort layouts, Peak sets add accessory arms for extras like rope ladders, trapeze bars and fireman's poles, and the Backyard Adventures treehouse designs offer the most play space, with more than 100 square feet of deck on the largest Titan models. Peak and Treehouse sets also come with a steel-reinforced swing beam kit. Sizes run from standard to XL and Jumbo, so there is a play set for nearly every yard and family. Most swing sets in the lineup pair belt swings with a trapeze bar, many add a rock wall, and some include a tire swing or monkey bars.
