It is designed for people of all ages and ability levels to improve or recover balance and mobility. The guardrails on the sides provide hand support and prevent falls as individuals move across the platform. Both the guardrails and the platform below are made from galvanized steel which protects them from rusting and other damages associated with weather. The platform is textured thanks to perforations which provide the much-needed traction for safe walking. These perforations also drain off the water right after the rain ends to ensure the Assisted Balance Walk is always ready to use. Wet surfaces are a safety hazard and the last thing you’d want is people with mobility issues slipping. The entire structure is finished with a powder coating that protects against rust.
